Stage Transitions

This is something I've been speculating on for a while, and I've decided to bring up. It's important we define when each of our stages begins and ends, because these transitions are quite important to the game and will also probably be quite tricky to actually implement. Obviously, the start of the game is the start of the Microbe Stage.
